It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Robert Joseph Fernandez on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the age of 68 years in Timmins, Ontario, Canada. Cherished husband of the late Dr. Giribala (née Bora), dear father of Noel (Cindy) and loving grandfather to Zaidyn and Ivy Fernandez. Predeceased by his parents Joseph “Joe” and Sylvia (née D’Mello) Fernandez and sister Audrey D’Penha (née Fernandez). Sadly missed by his sisters Philann Vaz (late Derrick) and Evelyn Gonsalves (Edmund). He will be missed by many cousins, friends and colleagues. In keeping with his wishes, Robert requested to be cremated and a service be held along with his late wife at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
