Charbonneau, Gaetan (Guy)

It is with great sadness that his girls announce the death of Gaetan (Guy) Charbonneau on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 85 years of age.

Beloved father of Doreen Harte of Barrie, the late Jacqueline Charbonneau of North Bay, Corine Charbonneau (Rob) of North Bay. Step father to the late Robert (Bob) Charbonneau,  (Carol) of Winnipeg, and Jim Cameron (Rita) of North Bay. Gaetan leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.

Gaetan was the brother of the late Gertrude Poulin, the late Cecile Dubien, the late Simone Legace the late JeannineDelaurier, Gaston (Alice), the late Ludovic (Gilberte),Simon  and the late Evanna Cameron (Jim) and as well as many, many nieces and nephews whom he loved so much. Gaetan was predeceased by his wife Roseanna and the mother of his children Patricia. Gaetan also leaves behind his very good friend Bernice Montreuil of Iroquois Falls. 

Gaetan was a proud member of the Lions Club in Iroquois Falls. Avid bingo player and loved telling his girls about his wins. 

Gaetan was well known for his great sense of humor. The very last conversation he had with his daughters was to say which one he loved more. We will hold that teasing in our hearts forever. 

Respecting his final wishes there will be no visitation or funeral. Celebration of life is planned for next summer. 

In lieu of flowers donations to the Hospice Unit at the Anson General Hospital will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
